Researchers' Night at SZTAKI

Researchers' Night 2017

Researcher’s Night is a Europe-wide public event dedicated to popular science and fun learning. It takes place each year on the last Friday in September. Around 30 countries and over 300 cities are involved. In 2017 all the events took place – simultaneously- on Friday 29 September, in over 300 cities across Europe and in neighbouring countries.

During the 2017 Researcher’s Day in Budapest, SZTAKI organized programs related to Industry 4.0 topics, like robotics, 3D laser scanning, smart automated manufacturing systems. Participants of the Researcher’s Night could attend presentations and demonstrations of the new open lab, including the pilot manufacturing system and the newly installed collaborative robots. In the new environment the visitors could interactively work together with small robots and get an insight view of the robotized logistics, 3D laser scanning and intelligent factories.
