Leading industry experts claim the Internet of Things (IoT) as the next Industrial Revolution. The IoT applications seem to be limitless. 

The EXCELL project offers a networking event at Fraunhofer FIT, the project partner leading the research fields on cyber-physical systems (CPS), business-based IoT and human-system interaction. 

The IoT Innovation and Networking Days take place on 22-23 May 2017 at the FIT Campus and cover the following aspects:

• Smart Manufacturing and Sustainable Process Industry,
• Big Data Analytics and
• Large Scale CPS and IoT Deployments 
• Smart Grids and 
• Smart Cities & Civil Engagement
• Blockchain Approaches

The IoT Innovation and Networking Days at Fraunhofer FIT give participants from research and industry the opportunity to meet face to face, exchange experience and discuss about ideas in a relaxed and open environment. Representatives from the European Commission, stakeholders from industry and research organizations provide insights to their working area and current research questions. 

This way, EXCELL helps to transfer and exchange the consortium’s expert knowledge and expertise from the EXCELL academic and industrial network with participants from research and industry.
