The afternoon session of EXCELL consortium meeting in Birmingham on Wednesday 11th, May 2017, will be dedicated to a Workshop on Diversity in Engineering.

Aim of the workshop is to discuss issues related to:

• enabling engineers, whatever their background, to develop as critical, reflective professionals who will make a difference in the global workforce;
• valuing and respecting the diversity of the engineers community;
• promoting justice, integrity and sustainable growth in scientific society;
• providing a safe and healthy engineering environment with a good work-life balance.
